Churches Together in Upton have arranged for

Armonico Consort (a group of 8 singers)  to come to Upton from 16  -  18 June.  On Thursday and Friday, 16 and 17 June, some of the singers will be conducting a School Workshop in local Junior Schools teaching the children singing, acting and movement and the session culminates in a performance in the school hall.

The rest of the singers will be holding a ‘sing-along’ in a local Care Home singing some classics and also songs which would be familiar to the group so that everybody can join in.

On the Saturday evening the whole group will be giving a concert in our church — more details about this in our May Newsletter.

 

You can hear Armonico Consort on Classic FM, Radio 3 & 4 as they have issued CDs, which will be available to purchase on the Saturday evening.
