Prayer

CELESTIAL PEACE

 

 

           Sometimes I hear stories told from God’s Good Book.                          They are told by Ministers and Lay Preachers,

           But their explanation of simple truths

           Do not have me completely hooked.

 

           I sometimes despair of my unbelief.

           I feel if I took these things very seriously

           I would probably become quite delirious.

           However, I realise with God’s grace,

           I will meet him face to face.

 

           When I reach His celestial resting place,

           He will forgive me where I have felt in disgrace.

           I will reach His celestial resting place

           and receive complete peace.

           All my thoughts of unbelief will cease,

           Thanks to God’s good grace.
